Dear President Lovell,
Miracles are happening here in Zapala! I feel so blessed to be apart of what is happening here. The people here are great and ready to hear this message. Elder Yanez and I are really trying to work hard and reach the standards of our area. Because of that goal we have seen miracles this week. One of those miracles was saturday. On sat we fasted for our district and our area. We tried really hard to set up appointments with members. Our first lesson we taught a part member and menos active family with a member from the ward. The lesson started off ruff because the family said their not sure if they believe in all the rules. We talked about the power of the book of mormon and with the testimony of the member we brought, we were able to put 2 fetchas with the boyfriend and son. next, we taught a man, segundo who has a date, and his whole family. we brought a member with us again and were able to put a date with the granddaughter, who by the end of the lesson, defender the church haha. next, we taught another lesson with a member and put a date with an elderly woman named maria whos husband died about two years ago. the lesson was so powerful. and to end that day we had another member present and put two more dates with liliana and her son carlos. basically
what im trying to say is that there are miracles here in zapala and miracles when we teach with members! Im doing really good. Trying to get over homesickness but every missionary feels that. Thnak you so much for the story in the letter today. Im going to print it out so i can read it when ever i have a hard morning. Elder Yanez and i are trying to be 100 percent obedient and work together. Thank you so much for such a great companion. We will reach the weekly standard!
