Hey yall,
so i made it to my new area. it is nothing like my last area. there are no mountains, snow, lakes, rivers, GREEN....haha but its all good. My new companion is Elder Gomez...hes from mexico...VIVA MEXICO! finally i can learn the way to cook some mexican food. so it was super hard to leave my last area. i fell in love with the members and the people. one of the hardest things about the mission is to meet new people and become so close with them and then one day have to leave and not have the chance to talk with them until after the mision. im also going to miss all of the missionaries that were in my district. in my new area im a zone leader and i feel strange. today my comp and i went to a district meeting and i listened to the district leader talk and all i thought to myself how much i missed being a district leader and helping the missionaries up in bariloche. now im here as a zone leader and have to get into the swing of things. but its good. when things are always the same in life we tend to not look for the help of Heavenly Father because we are accostomed to do what we need to do. when things change or get harder we are forced to look for the help of Heavenly Father. so in reality, when there is change in life its just another chance to become closer to our Father in Heaven. He can help know what I need to do and when i need to do it.
As i start this new journey I have the chance to look for the help of Heavenly Father and feel the spirit guide me. the thing ive been thinking a lot about lately is the power of the holy spirit. it is the key to success in the mission but it is also the key to success in life. no one is mad, sad, envious, or stressed when the spirit is present. It is a little taste of what our lives can be like after this life; to always have the power of the spirit in our lives. the goal is to learn and find more ways to invite the Holy Spirit into our lives. He wants to be with us and help us but sometimes we just need to give him an invitation.
Im so gratefull for my family and that there is a plan to return to our Heavenly Father after this life. I believe in miracles and trust in Gods plan for me. I am so gratefull for the Holy Spirit and the peace he brings.
Have a great week!!!
Con AMOR
