Weekly Letter - 15 Dic 2014

Dear Presidente,
This Christmas season is like none other! Miracles are happening all around us. I think this last week may have been the best week that I have ever seen in the zone. The District lideres put great goals for their districts and we can see the results. Everyone is trying to us the Dadiva with the people they talk with, which is really healping. It is amazing that in this time of Christmas we get to think more of our Savior but even better that we have the chance to be His representatives. Our area is doing great! We saw a miracle with one one of our investigatores, Miriam. Miriam has come to church 3 times in a row now this past sunday, and on saturday we had planned on teaching the ley de castidad. She has had a boyfriend that lives with her for some time now so we werent sure how she would take it. But in the lesson, as we started, Elder Agee asked her if she prayed about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. She replied with a firm yes! Then something unexpected happened. Her eyes began to water up and she began to cry. She told us that she knows this is true and wants to keep going to church because she knows this is good for her. She also began to tell us that she left her boyfriend, who I forgot to mention was re contra menos activo, because she needs to progress in life. We testified that Heavenly Father would guide her as she put her life in his hands and she accepted to live the ley de castidad. All we have done with Miriam is teach her the doctrine and invite and Heavenly Father has prepared her heart. Elder Agee and I are doing great. We are dumbfounded at times as we see all these great things happening in the zone and our area. We are trying to use the Dadiva better in the zone and are looking into getting shirts made for everyone. As for me, Im doing great! This is such a great time in my life. I remember when I was in Dina Huapi I had a dream that I had finished my mission and I was at home in the car with my mom waiting to go see the Stake President. While in the car I saw a group of people walk by and started to cry because I couldnt go contact them. I will never forget that dream because it is true, the day will come when I no longer have my placa on and
I wont be in the streets teaching all day. It is sad to think that but at the same time it helps me work hard. I love the mission and am eternally greatful to be here. I want to be a missionary forever and the best part of the gospel is that I can be. Thank you so much for everything you do. Have a great week!
